BOGF

BOGF MetaArt Illustration Photograph vinyl printed on canvas.

BOGF — Buy One, Get Four is a still or motorised geometric work developed within MetHamathics, exploring the point at which visual art, embodied perception and constitutive executive theory become difficult to separate. A single composition assumes four distinct orientations — Present, Remembering, Dreaming and Waking — rotating automatically through 90° every fifteen minutes. Colour, geometric direction, visual rhythm and elementary forms are used as perceptual cues, drawing upon the ways orientation, colour and spatial movement can organise attention and invite different cognitive or bodily readings. The accompanying interpretative graphic proposes one possible mapping of these relationships, but does not prescribe it: whether BOGF is encountered as an artwork, a perceptual experiment, a temporal object, or an executable constitutive proposition remains a question for the viewer. The work therefore offers a tactile bridge between formal order and human mental experience: one object, four orientations, continually returning to itself while never quite presenting the same thing.

Cost-effective art available at intelligent prices. Collaborative executions with chosen and celebrated artists vary in price range from £25,000 to £150. The MetaMathics project creates sources of revenue for artists celebrating collaboration. The commissioner receives a piece dated as of the date paid for.
